The
Falls Golf and Country Club has been described as British
Columbia's best kept golf secret, but that's about to change.
Rising
750 ft. above the Fraser Valley, The Falls is a dramatic 18
hole, 6,817 yard par 71 layout - and one of the most exciting
new courses in Canada. The panoramic views of the Fraser Valley,
Mount Cheam and the Coast Mountain Range are upstaged only
by the sheer beauty of this masterpiece.
With
340 beautifully treed acres, waterfalls which cascade over
100 feet, free power cart use and an average of 5 sets of
tees per hole, The Falls will captivate and inspire any golfer
- from the casual player to the most experienced pro. Set
between giant rock outcrops and rugged west coast beauty,
The Falls offers immaculate, undulating and inviting fairways,
strategically placed hazards, generous landing areas, and
greens so true you'll know you're in a golfer's paradise.
The
Falls features five exceptional par 3's, all worthy of top
billing. The fourth hole is particularly striking: it's 9
tee boxes allow the hole to be played from 116 to 229 scenic
yards and from two different angles.
The
Falls was co-designed by Ted Locke and Rick Wellsby. Ted Locke
has established himself as one of the preeminent golf course
designers in the Pacific Northwest. This commitment to excellence
is illustrated by the fact that The Falls was Western Canada's
first soft-spike golf course.

below what renowned golfer and course architect Greg Norman
said about The Falls Golf and Country Club and his involvement
in the near future.
The
Sandpiper Golf Club
The
Sandpiper Golf Club, heralded as one of British Columbia's
best new resort courses. Along side the Harrison River, framed
by the rugged backdrop of Mt. Woodside, Sandpiper Golf Club
is a spectacular resort golf course; it is forest golfing
at its finest. Eagles, sandpipers, salmon and other wildlife
are an everyday part of this magnificent course.
Thanks
to Canadian course designer Russ Olson, golfers at Sandpiper
enjoy two distinctly different environments - the open fairways
alongside the river and the quiet serenity amongst the ancient
180 ft. Douglas Firs. The surrounding beauty isn't the only
feature that keeps golfers coming back; the course is an easy,
pleasant walk and player friendly.
Many
golfers reserve their stay and play packages months ahead
of time with Rowena's Inn on the River. For a truly peaceful
escape, couples can seclude themselves in one of the cozy
guest cottages, nestled in the trees along the 14th green.

Snowcapped
peaks. Majestic fir trees. Invigorating mountain air. The
occasional brown bear and her cubs sauntering across the green
- this is the setting that inspired Arnold Palmer to choose
the Whistler Golf Club as his first Canadian design.
The Whistler Golf Club is a par 72, 18 hole golf course winding
past gentle mountain streams and nine lakes that easily exceeds
the expectations of the most discriminating golfer. In 2000
the Whistler Golf Club received an extensive $2.2 million
renovation to ensure this 6676-yard course continues its legacy
of excellence.
